Stampin’ Up! High Tide for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! High Tide stamp set from the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalog to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is the card that I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week…I took a few creative liberties with it.  🙂

And my card also works for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #79.

I started by adhering panels from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Stack (available Jan 4) to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel four times and tied a bow and then adhered the panel to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the lighthouse and light images from the High Tide photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 4) in Real Red and So Saffron inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I inked the bird and sand images in Early Espresso ink, stamped them on scrap paper and stamped them around the lighthouse.  I inked the water image in Bermuda Bay ink stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it around the lighthouse as well.

I carefully inked the “shine” part of the sentiment from the High Tide stamp set in Early Espresso ink and stamped it next to the lighthouse, then cut the panel with a die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies set.  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.

I inked and stamped off the images from the High Tide stamp set in Early Espresso and Bermuda Bay inks and then stamped them on a Very Vanilla card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
