Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid CAS Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamp set and coordinating Pine Tree Punch to create a quick Christmas card so share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #508.

I started by embossing a panel of Real Red card stock with the snowflake embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut the panel in half and then adhered the two panels to the front of the Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a strip of Pattern Party DSP (host exclusive item) to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered a small length of Real Red 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon to the card front in a “z” formation.

I stamped the tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then punched the tree image out with the Pine Tree Punch.  I adhered the tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and tree from Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Real Red and Evening Evergreen inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
