Stampin’ Up! Sweet Gingerbread Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Gingerbread stamp set bundle to create a quick Christmas Card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 544.

I started by embossing a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock with the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a panel of Flirty Flamingo DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Gingerbread House Dies and then placed the die cut panel on a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock.  I cut both card stock panels with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered the die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Sweetest Christmas DSP with the same die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered the die cut rectangles together with Stampin’ Seal and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Sweet Gingerbread photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Sweet Sorbet inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Gingerbread House Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I colored the heart on the door with the Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel for the door handle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and trees from the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

I made this card out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.
