Stampin’ Up! Ballet Beauty Dance Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ballet Beauty stamp set to create a quick dance card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #570.

I started by adhering a panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Vellum Basics Specialty DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut vellum to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with Stampin’ Seal that is hidden under the circle die cut.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the image from the Ballet Beauty stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the image with Light and Dark Balmy Blue and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut around the image with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I cut a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with one of the Layering Circles Dies and then adhered the two circles together with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ballet Beauty stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with another one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  Then I added three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ballet Beauty stamp set in Balm Blue ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I inked the ballerina image from the Ballet Beauty stamp set in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it next to the sentiment.  I adhered a strip of Country Lane DSP to the bottom of the panel with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.

I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.
