I used the Stampin’ Up! Joy To You stamp set from the upcoming September-December 2023 Mini Catalog to create a quick Christmas card to share with you today. I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 599.
My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC222. I went right across the top row.
I started by adhering two strips of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ DSP (available September 6) to the top and bottom of a Pretty Peacock card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a panel of A Walk In The Forest DSP (available September 6) to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Joy To You stamp set (available September 6) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Garden Green card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I cut off the top of the sentiment die cut with my Stampin’ Trimmer and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered two of the Garden Green pearls from the Blooming Pearls (available September 6) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Joy To You stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of A Walk In The Forest DSP to finish the inside of the card.
