Stampin’ Up! Joy Of Noel Christmas Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Joy Of Noel and Christmas Classics stamp set bundles to create a Christmas card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC322.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Joy Of Christmas DSP to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with Stampin’ Seal, then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I cut panels of Joy Of Christmas DSP with one of the Christmas Classics Dies and one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the two die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal and then cut the die cut in half.

I adhered the two pieces to the upper and lower area of the card front with Stampin’ Seal so that there was about a 3/4″ gap between them.  Then I cut another panel of Joy Of Christmas DSP with one of the Christmas Classics Dies.  I snipped that die cut in half and adhered the pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Seal with about a 1/2″ gap between them.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the large banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Joy Of Noel stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Joy Of Noel Dies.  I cut the Basic White panel two more times with that same die without stamping the images and then stacked the die cut letters on top of each other, adhering them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered the stacked letters with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the banner on the card front.

I stamped the holly image from the Christmas Classics stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White cards stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the holly berries in Real Red ink on the panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images out with the coordinating Christmas Classics Dies.  I adhered the berries to the holly with a Mini Glue Dot and then adhered the holly to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered three Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots and two Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments and holly berries from the Christmas Classics stamp set in Shaded Spruce and Real Red inks and the holly image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the holly leaves with Light and Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends to finish the inside of the card.
