Stampin’ Up! Caring Leaves You’re The Best CAS Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Caring Leaves stamp set from Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming September-December 2024 Mini Catalog to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC343.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches 543.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the outline leaf images from the Caring Leaves photopolymer stamp set (available September 4) in Cajun Craze ink down the side of a panel of Wood Textured Specialty Paper.

I stamped the “fill-in” leaf images from the Caring Leaves stamp set in Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly inks over the lined leaf images.  I used a Blending Brush to apply Balmy Blue ink to the edges of the Wood Textured panel and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Caring Leaves stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cajun Craze card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Greetings Of The Season Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then pulled a length of Linen Thread through the die cut and tied a bow.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added two Cajun Craze dots from the Faux Glass Dots (available September 4) to finish the card front.

I stamped the leaf images from the Caring Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
