Stampin’ Up! Jolly Holly Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jolly Holly stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the theme that we’re all using this week:

My card also works for The Paper Players PP745.

I started by adhering three panels of patterned paper from the Nests Of Winter DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a circle from Garden Green card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Nests Of Winter DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it to a circle that I’d cut from Early Espresso card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Jolly Holly photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Iridescent Faceted Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Jolly Holly stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Nests Of Winter DSP to finish the inside of the card.
