I apologize that some of you have been receiving my blog posts twice for the last few days. I’m trying to sort out why they’re been sent from both WordPress (the host for my blog) and Feedblitz (the group that sends my blog posts out via email). I don’t know if it’s an issue on the WordPress side or the Feedblitz side…but hopefully I can get it resolved quickly. Sorry for the double posts in the meantime!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Balloon Festoon stamp set to create a clean and simple birthday card to share today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #738.
I started by stamping the balloon image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Coastal Cabana, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the balloon string image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Basic Gray ink under each balloon. I stamped the confetti image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink over the panel.
I adhered the stamped panel to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it with one of the Nested Essentials Dies.
I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two dots from the Shimmering Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and balloon images from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Basic Gray inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
