I used the Stampin’ Up! Relaxing Waterside stamp set bundle to create a quick beach birthday card to share with you today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
My card design was loosely inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches #591.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Waterside Retreat DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the Adirondack chair image from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the image with the Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Marker and then used the Color Lifter to remove a bit more color from the image.
I inked the seagrass images from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Old Olive and Pecan Pie inks and then stamped them on the Basic White panel. I cut the stamped images with the coordinating Relaxing Waterside Dies (restocking around August 10) and then adhered the larger die cut grass with Stampin’ Seal and the chair and smaller grass die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I stamped the bird images from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Gray Granite ink twice on the card front.
I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Gray Granite ink on another panel of Waterside Retreat DSP and I cut the image out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I slid the die cut over about 1/2″ in the die and then cut the end again with the Stylish Shapes die to shorten it a bit. I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment, bird and seagrass images from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Balmy Blue, Gray Granite, Old Olive and Pecan Pie inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Sales Tax Holiday in 8 States – Get Select Stampin’ Up! items Tax Free!
The 2026 back-to-school sales tax holiday season is upon us! During select dates in August, eight states are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies.
Good news: this includes select Stampin’ Up! products! According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible.

Please note that you must place your Stampin’ Up! orders during the tax holiday period to receive qualifying items tax-free. A few notes about the new system:
