My Little Valentine and Happy Valentine Heart Treats

Today is the last day to order the Valentine Treat Bundle (132771) and the My Little Valentine Promotion (132242) from Stampin’ Up.  With the My Little Valentine Promotion, you get the My Little Valentine stamp set and the Sealed with Sealed Love Simply Sent Kit for $9.95.  With the Valentine Treat Bundle, you get the Happy Valentine Heart Single Stamp and a 50-count package of 1″ x 8″ cellophane bags for $5.95.  Both of the bundles are available in clear mount only.

Today I’m sharing some treat holders that I made with the two stamp sets.  The first treat holder was made using a small sauce jar, I thought that it was the perfect size for a little valentine gift.  I’m making these for the teachers for Valentine’s Day.

The colors that I used were inspired by the Fab Friday 10 Color Challenge.  Here are the colors:

Here is the list of products that you will need to create this treat holder:

I started by sponging the Tea Lace Paper Doily with Crumb Cake Ink and I adhered the doily to the jar with Sticky Strip.  Next, I wrapped the Two-Tone Ribbon around the jar and adhered it with Sticky Strip.  Then I used my Brayer to ink the back side of one of the More Amore DSP scalloped hearts that I’d snipped out with my scissors.  I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake Ink and I adhered that over the doily with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the scalloped heart image from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on Cherry Cobbler card stock and cut it out with the scalloped Hearts a Flutter Framelits die.  I curled the edges a little with my bone folder and adhered the heart to the jar with Stampin Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the large heart image from the You Are Loved stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink on Very Vanilla card stock, punched out the center of it with the Full Heart Punch, sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink, curled the edges with a bone folder and adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler heart with SNAIL.  Then I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the heart image from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink outlined in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  I colored the sentiment from the My Little Valentine stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on the heart using the stamp-a-ma-jig for placement.  Then I cut the heart out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits die, sponged the edges in Cherry Cobbler ink, curled the edges with a bone folder and adhered it to the jar with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For the lid, I drew a circle around the lid top on the More Amore DSP, cut it with my scissors and adhered it to the lid with Sticky Strip.  Then I cut  strip of the same DSP to fit around the side of the lid and adhered it with Sticky Strip.  I tied a bow with the Two-Tone Ribbon and adhered it to the top with Glue Dots.  Then I filled it with my favorite treats, chocolate kisses!

Here are a few more pictures of the finished jar:

I also made two quick smaller treat holders using the  Sealed Love Simply Sent Kit and the Happy Valentine Heart stamp.

Here is the list of products that you’ll need to make the treat holders:

I stamped the Happy Valentine Heart and punched it out, put the envelopes together, wrapped ribbon around them and adhered the decorated hearts.  I tucked two little chocolate bars inside the envelopes and they’re ready for giving.  The Sycamore Street Ribbon matches perfectly.  If you are interested, the Simply Sent Sealed With Love Kits (126923) are available for sale by themselves until Feb. 14 and they’re $7.95.
