Happy Valentines Day!!  I guess I should have made a red card today…I’ll try to plan better next time.  🙂  I pulled out one of my favorite stamps from the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog to make a thank you card to share with you.  I used the Swallowtail stamp and the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set for my project.  My card design was inspired by the Seize The Sketch #13.

I started by adhering a panel of Watercolor Wonder DSP to a Gumball Green card stock panel with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to an Island Indigo card base with SNAIL.  I adhered a smaller panel of Watercolor Wonder DSP to a panel of Gumball Green card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.

For the little round element, I snipped the top off of a Tea Lace Paper Doily and sponged it with Island Indigo ink, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Then I stamped the Swallowtail image (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on an Island Indigo card stock panel, sprinkled it with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set in Island Indigo Ink in the lower corner of the stamped panel.  I adhered the stamped panel over a Gumball Green panel with SNAIL, then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card front by adding a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment.

I added a leftover strip of the Watercolor Wonder DSP to a Whisper White panel to finish the inside of the card.
