Stampin’ Up! Happy Wishes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Wishes stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the larger sentiment image from the Happy Wishes stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I colored the little flowers in the sentiment with the Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Old Olive and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers and then stamped the “anniversary” sentiment from the Happy Wishes stamp set under it in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the DSP panel with SNAIL.

I tied a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel with a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.

I adhered a small strip of Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon Approaching Not Orderable Status

Stampin’ Up! just announced that sales for the Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon (item 145590) have exceeded their forecast and are continuing strong, resulting in a significant number of backorders. It will be approximately the end of February before this item is back in stock.

This product will remain available until Friday, February 2, at 8:00 AM (MT); it will then be placed in not-orderable status. After that time, the ribbon will be placed in a not orderable status until the shipment is received.

Additionally, when you enter this product’s item number in an order, you will receive a pop-up notification asking if you would like to be notified via email when this product is back in stock. This allows you to find out immediately when the item’s status changes and it is again available for purchase.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  Be sure to order your ribbon today if you would like to purchase it before the number is turned off.
