Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Forever Forest Birthday Card

The circle background for my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #707.

I started by adhering a panel of Zoo Crew DSP to the front of a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a circle from Basic White card stock with one of the Deckled Circles Dies and then used Blending Brushes to apply Pool Party and Pecan Pie inks to the die cut circle.

I stamped the smaller row of trees from the Forever Forest stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock two times and then cut them out with the coordinating Forever Forest Dies.  I adhered the two die cuts to the circle die cut with Stampin’ Seal and then ran the die cut through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the same circle die from the Deckled Circles Die.  I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Then I inked the larger row of trees from the Forever Forest stamp set with Garden Green ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to add Granny Apple Green ink around the edges of the image.  I stamped the tree image on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Forever Forest Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I adhered a small length of Pecan Pie 1/2″ Bordered Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Throughout The Year stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock and then cut it with one of the Autumn Leaves Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the small tree line image in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, then inked the tree image a second time in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the Basic White panel to finish the inside of the card.
