Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Birthday Card

I started by adhering a panel of Country Woods DSP (available May 1) to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the birdhouse base from Petal Pink card stock with the large birdhouse and circle dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies (available May 1).  I embossed the birdhouse with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (available May 1).  I cut panels of Country Woods DSP with the roof, circle and base dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies and adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal and Mini Glue Dots to the die cut birdhouse.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the scallop roof die from the Birdhouse Dies and then stamped the coordinating scalloped image from the Country Birdhouse photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on the die cut.  I adhered the scalloped die cut with the Stampin’ Seal that I’d applied to adhere the other roof piece to the birdhouse.  I cut a panel of Basic Black card stock with the thin roof die and stand die from the Country Birdhouse Dies.  I also punched a circle from Basic Black card stock with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch.  I adhered the die cut roof to the birdhouse with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the circle punch to the back of the birdhouse with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the stand and birdhouse die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I cut a panel of Old Olive card stock two times with the greenery die from the Country Flowers Dies (available May 1).  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the flower and bird images from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Country Birdhouse Dies and then adhered the die cut images with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Birthday Card

I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the image out with one of the Happy Little Things Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two of the Basic Gray pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Country Woods DSP to finish the inside of the card.
