I used the Stampin’ Up! Cap & Gown stamp to create a graduation card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here. Love that you can customize this card to the school colors for the graduate!
My basic card design was inspired by a graduation card that Heather Hoffman created and you can see it here.
I started by adhering a panel of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the cap, gown and “class of” sentiments from the Cap & Gown stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.
I colored the tassel with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. Then I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut the panel with the number dies from the Alphabet A La Mode Dies and used the Adhesive Sheets to adhere the die cuts to the card front.
I cut panels of Blueberry Bushel, Basic White and Daffodil Delight card stocks with one of the Happy Little Things Dies (Online Exclusive item) and adhered them with Stampin’ Seal to the Basic White card stock panel. I snipped the banners so that they were even with the top of the panel and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I added two Blueberry Bushel dots from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and graduation cap in Blueberry Bushel and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the card front.
I made a second card to coordinate with another set of school colors with the Cap & Gown stamp set! The card on the right was made with Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue card stocks and ink.
