I used the Stampin’ Up! Bistro Burger stamp set bundle to create a fun Father’s Day card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
My card design works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC248. I went diagonally from upper left to lower right.
I started by cutting a banner end in a panel of To Market DSP with my Paper Trimmer. Then I adhered the banner to the Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered another panel of To Market DSP to a panel of Garden Green card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of To Market DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the panel and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut panels of Poppy Parade DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack with the small banner dies from the Bistro Burger Dies. I adhered the die cut banner pieces to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Then I stamped the burger image from the Bistro Burger stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the image with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored the lettuce with the Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker and then cut the image out with the coordinating Bistro Burger Dies.
I cut panels of Gray Granite and Crumb Cake card stocks with the knife dies from the Bistro Burger Dies and adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, slid the die cut through the slit in the top of the burger bun and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the back of the burger. I adhered the burger to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Bistro Burger stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Poppy Parade card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (returning around June 3) and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Labeled With Love Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added two Garden Green dots from the Adhesive-Backed Transparent Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Beside Me stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then inked the burger image from the Bistro Burger stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the sentiment to finish the inside of the card.
