I used the fun Tune In stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a birthday card with a bit of a 70’s vibe. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
My card design works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC249. I went down the left side.
I started by scoring a Blackberry Bliss card base at 5-1/2″ and again at 6-3/4″. I applied adhesive to the area between the 5-1/2″ and 6-3/4″ score lines and adhered the card base together to create the book fold. Then I adhered panels of To Market DSP to panels of Pumpkin Pie card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the card front on either side of the score line.
I stamped the TV image from the Tune In stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Country Woods DSP and a panel of Winter Meadow DSP (Online Exclusive item). Then I stamped the sentiment from the Tune In stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on the Winter Meadow DSP. I cut the Country Woods image out with the coordinating die from the Tune In Dies. I snipped around the sentiment image on the Winter Meadow DSP, leaving enough excess to be able to adhere it to the back of the Country Woods die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then I adhered the two pieces together.
I adhered the TV die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then cut a panel of copper foil from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper with the antenna and knob dies from the Tune In Dies. I adhered the knobs with Mini Glue Dots and the antenna with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front. i stamped the star image from the Tune In stamp set two times in Peach Pie ink and then cut around them with the coordinating Tune In Dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment and star images from the Tune In stamp set in Blackberry Bliss and Peach Pie inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
