I used the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Forest stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
I started by adhering strips of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base at the top and bottom with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the small evergreen image from the Frosted Forest photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive available July 3) in Garden Green ink across a panel of Basic White card stock. Some were stamped full strength and some were stamped off once. I used a Blending Brush to apply Coastal Cabana ink to the top of the panel.
I stamped the bird image from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Basic White card stock panel and then colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I used the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks (Online Exclusive available July 3) and Blending Brushes to apply Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist inks to a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the lined tree image from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Pecan Pie ink over the stenciled images and then cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Frosted Forest Dies (Online Exclusive available July 3). I adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added two Pecan Pie gems from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (Online Exclusive available July 3) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Tune In stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Country Woods DSP to finish the inside of the card.
