I used the Stampin’ Up! Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set from the upcoming Online Exclusives to create a hello friend card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP695.
I started by adhering strips of Country Woods DSP to the right and left sides of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then trimmed the ends of two smaller strips of Country Woods DSP at an angle and then adhered the strips to the top and bottom of the card base with Stampin’ Seal to create the “frame”.
I stamped the images from the Scenic Pumpkin Patch photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 3) starting at the bottom and moving up in Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow then adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Duck Pond photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cajun Craze card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added two Pecan Pie gems from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (Online Exclusive item available July 3) to finish the card front.
I stamped the pumpkin images from the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
I created a second version of this card with lighter woodgrain patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP.
