I used the fun new Potions & Spells stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s new Online Exclusives to create a Halloween card to share with your today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Winter Meadow DSP pack to the front of a Night Of Navy card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the cauldron image from the Potions & Spells photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut the cauldron out with the coordinating Potions & Spells Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then placed it on a panel of Basic White card stock. I marked the top of the cauldron with a light pencil line on the Basic White panel.
I stamped the bubbles and sentiment from the Potions & Spells stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Basic White panel, using the pencil line as my guide for stamping the bubbles. Then I colored the bubbles with Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. I applied Pool Party, Misty Moonlight and Night Of Navy inks over the Basic White card stock panel with Blending Brushes and then adhered the inked panel to a panel of Night Of Navy card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a panel of Basic White, Pecan Pie, Crushed Curry and Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Specialty Paper (Online Exclusive item) with dies from the Potions & Spells Dies. I colored the potion bottles with Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered the die cut “potions” to the bottles with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the bottles to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the dripping die cut and the broom die cuts over the cauldron with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the crow and book images from the Potions & Spells stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Highland Heather and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out with the coordinating Potions & Spells Dies and then adhered the crow with Mini Glue Dots and the books with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the crow and sentiment images from the Potions & Spells stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the crow with Light and Dark Basic Black and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
