Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Change Can Be Beautiful CAS Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Change Can Be Beautiful CAS Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by embossing two panels of Basic Beige card stock with Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered one of the panels to the front of a Basic Beige card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I trimmed the edges off the remaining Basic Beige panel and I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of copper paper from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to the front of the Basic Beige card base, lining up the embossed card front with the edges showing on the card base.  I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies (restocking around August 26) and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two of the copper sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I embossed the edge of a panel of Basic Beige card stock with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder to finish the inside of the card.
