I used the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp set bundle from the upcoming November 5 Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it right here.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock four times with one of the Perennial Postage Dies and then adhered panels of patterned paper from the Flowering Zinnia DSP to the die cut squares with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered squares to the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cake Celebrations stamp set (Online Exclusive item available November 5) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Peaceful Season Dies and then colored two small pieces of Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker. I pulled the lengths of ribbon through the die cut sentiment ends and then adhered the die cut sentiment to the embossed panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the ribbon to the back of the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the cake plate image from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I stamped the splatter image from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and then cut the cake and cake plate with the coordinating Cake Celebrations Dies (Online Exclusive item available November 5). I applied Adhesive Sheets to the back of panels of Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stocks and then cut the panels with the layer and frosting dies from the Cake Celebrations Dies. I adhered the die cut pieces to the cake with the Adhesive Sheets and then adhered the die cut pieces with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the flowers, leaves and candle images from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Lemon Lolly inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images with the Cake Celebrations Dies. I adhered the die cut images to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots and then added three of the clear dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I inked the cake plate and cake images from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in Gray Granite and Crumb Cake inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the candle images in Pool Party and Lemon Lolly inks on the Basic White panel and then stamped the sentiments from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in Early Espresso ink over the cake images.
