I used the Stampin’ Up! Trusty Tools stamp set and coordinating Trusty Tools Dies to create a quick birthday card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #664.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP (available January 7) to the front of a Gray Granite card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock two times with the pegboard die from the Trusty Tools Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the lined tool images from the Trusty Tools photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the handle images from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Real Red, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze inks over the lined images. I colored the tops of the tools with Light and Dark Gray Granite and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Trusty Tools Dies. I adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front and then added the “pegs” by adhering Basic Gray pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls to the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Timeless Plaid DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Gray Granite card stock. I adhered the sentiment with Stamin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.

I stamped the tool images from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
