Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering two panels of patterned paper from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock.  I applied the adhesive so that it would be hidden by the layered pieces.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I applied Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Pecan Pie card stock and then cut the panel with the branch die from the Delightful Wishes Dies.  I adhered the branch to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets.  I stamped the flower images from the Delightful Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie and Old Olive inks on Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinated Delightful Wishes Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the “wishing” sentiment from the Delightful Wishes stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with the coordinating Delightful Wishes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Delightful Wishes stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pecan Pie card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the banner die from the Delightful Wishes Dies and adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I cut Mini Glue Dots in half and used the half dots to adhere three Tiny Bee Trinkets to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower images from the Delightful Wishes stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie and Old Olive inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
