I used the Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Forest stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Just Us Girls #765.

I started by adhering a panel of Balmy Blue card stock to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the zigzag image from the Peekaboo Forest photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and then cut it with the coordinating die from the Peekaboo Forest Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut to the Balmy Blue card stock panel with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the tree trunk, branch, leaves, bear and raccoon images from the Peekaboo Forest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I die cut the images with the coordinating Peekaboo Forest Dies.  Then I punched a panel of Basic Black card stock with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut bear to the opening in the tree with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the circle punch behind the bear with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the zigzag image from the Peekaboo Forest stamp set two times on panels of Old Olive card stock and then cut them with the coordinating die from the Peekaboo Forest Dies.  I used the leaf cluster to cut one of the of the die cuts and then adhered one of the die cut treetops with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and the tree trunk, branch and leaves with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I adhered the second die cut treetop with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the All Zipped Up stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment with one of the Wonderful Thoughts Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the All Zipped Up stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the bear image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink above it.  I colored the bear with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
