Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms Lovely Day Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms and Gallery Blooms stamp set bundles to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Blooms Lovely Day Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the greenery die from the Beautiful Motifs Dies two times and then I adhered the die cuts to the front of the Basic Beige card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the flower image from the Gallery Blooms stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Gallery Blooms Dies.  I adhered the die cut flowers to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I embossed a panel of Basic Beige card stock with the Pattern Of Friendship Die.  Then I adhered the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I applied Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Early Espresso card stock and then cut the panel with the sentiment die from the Sweet Blooms Dies.  I cut another panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the outline sentiment die and then adhered the die cut sentiment to the outline image with the Adhesive Sheets.  I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiments from the Sweet Blooms stamp set in Early Espresso ink on small pieces of Basic Beige card stock and then adhered the sentiments to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered two Petal Pink dots from the Low Profile Dots (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

  1. Beautiful card. Love the soft colors. The embossed panel with the large greeting is perfect. Love the flowers tucked under the edges.
