Stampin’ Up! Silly Safari Birthday Card

I used the cute Silly Safari stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a quick video showing you how I created this card on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Silly Safari Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #691.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Celebratory Sips DSP (Online Exclusive item on sale Buy One, Get One 50% Off in June) to the front of an Old Olive card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the giraffe image from the Silly Safari photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the image with the Petal Pink, Ivory & Bronze and Deep Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the leaf images from the Silly Safari stamp set in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive inks (solid leaves stamped a second time without reinking) on the Basic White panel.  Then I inked half of the sentiment from the Silly Safari stamp set in Timid Tiger ink and then stamped it next to the giraffe.  I cleaned the stamp and then inked the second half of the sentiment in Timid Tiger ink and then stamped it under the first sentiment.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Timid Tiger card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two Timid Tiger pearls from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and leaves images from the Silly Safari stamp set in Timid Tiger, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
