I used the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set bundle to create a quick birthday card to share today. I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP784.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Floral Charm DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Basic Beige card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a smaller panel of Floral Charm DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the flower image from the Charming Day stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the flowers with Light and Dark Timid Tiger and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored over the image with the Color Lifter to lighten the color just a bit and then die cut the flowers out with the coordinating Charming Day Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the die cut flowers to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a small length of Petal Pink 5/16″ Braided Trim (Online Exclusive item) and frayed the ends a little before adhering it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Day stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the image out with the banner die from the Wonderful Thoughts Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added three Petal Pink dots from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Floral Charm DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

what a pretty card, that color combo of teal and peach is beautiful Amy
Thanks Sandi! 🙂
Amy this card is just beautiful! I am charmed by those florals for sure; I’m trying to resist adding yet more florals to my collection, yet cards like yours are not really helping me hold my nerve lol! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

Oh, how I love these patterns and colors, and you put them all together so beautifully! Thanks for playing with our Paper Players sketch this week!

This is so striking! I like the way that your bold floral cluster uses colours deeper than the pretty background paper, while the dark DSP provides the contrast to let it shine. That twist of pink braid is a nice detail. Thanks for joining in my sketch at The Paper Players.
