I used the Stampin’ Up! Fluffy Squirrel stamp set bundle from the upcoming September-December 2025 Mini Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.
My card design was inspired by TGIF Challenges #tgifc538.
The theme for my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #788.
I started by adhering two panels of patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow. I cut panels of Cajun Craze and Basic White card stock with two dies from the Branching Out Dies (available September 3).
I stamped the squirrel, tree stump and flower images from the Fluffy Squirrel photopolymer stamp set (available September 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Basic White die cut. I stamped the solid squirrel image in Pecan Pie ink over the stamped image and then colored the other images with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored under the images with Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and then used a Color Lifter to lighten the coloring a bit. I adhered the two die cut panels together with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the second squirrel and acorn images from the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the solid squirrel image in Cajun Craze ink over the lined image. I colored the acorn with Light and Dark Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and then punched the images out with the coordinating Fluffy Squirrel Builder Punch (available September 3). I adhered the punched images to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Streaked Dots (available September 3) to finish the card front.
I stamped the squirrel and acorn images from the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento and Cajun Craze inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the acorn with Light and Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
