I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Place stamp set to create a quick birthday card to share today. I also created one version of this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the sentiments from the Happy Place stamp set (available September 3) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.
I colored the “happy” sentiment with Light Crumb Cake, Dark Pool Party and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Petal Pink card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow and then added two Streaked Dots (available September 3) to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Country Woods DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
