I used the Stampin’ Up! Shell Collecting stamp set to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I inked the Lasting Linen stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Basic White card stock.
I stamped the detailed shell images from the Shell Collecting stamp set in Pecan Pie, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake inks on the linen stamped panel. I inked the reverse sides of the stamps from the Shell Collecting stamp set in Pecan Pie, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the detailed images. I cut the stamped panel three times with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut squares to squares of Coastal Cabana card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered two of the layered squares with Stampin’ Seal and one with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I tied a bow with Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I punched the sentiment with the coordinating Three Banner Punch and then adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered three Pearls Of Beauty to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the detailed images from the Shell Collecting stamp set in Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana inks. I inked the “flip side” images in Pecan Pie, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the lined images to finish the inside of the card.
