I used the Stampin’ Up! Rolling Waves stamp set bundle from the upcoming March 2026 Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial (well…at least most of a video) showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel. For some reason, the video stopped half way through and then stopped again right before I stamped the inside of the card. You can find part 1 right here. And you can find part 2 right here.
I started by stamping the large water image from the Rolling Waves stamp set (Online Exclusive item available March 3) in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock three times. Trim the paper at a slight angle and then cut panels of Pool Party and Basic White card stock with the waves dies from the Rolling Waves Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 3). I adhered the die cuts to the stamped Pool Party panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I placed the waves die cuts on the front of a Crumb Cake card base and then stamped the sand image from the Rolling Waves stamp set in Pecan Pie ink around the wave die cuts. Then I adhered the waves to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the smaller wave die cut with Mini Glue Dots under the larger wave die cuts on the card front. Trim the edges even with the edges of the card front.
I applied small pieces of Adhesives Sheets to the back of panels of Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight card stocks and then cut the panels with the umbrella stripes die from the Rolling Waves Dies. I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the solid umbrella die from the Rolling Waves Dies and then adhered the stripe die cuts to the Basic White umbrellas with the Adhesive Sheets. I adhered the umbrellas to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Rolling Waves stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock and then cut around it with one of the Lovely Arrangements Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I cut a panel of Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper with the shells and starfish die from the Rolling Waves Dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment, shells and starfish images from the Rolling Waves stamp set in Blueberry Bushel, Pool Coastal Cabana and Pecan Pie inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
