I used the Stampin’ Up! Garden Gatherings stamp set bundle from the upcoming May-August 2026 Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #729.
My card design was also inspired by The Paper Players PP779. I went diagonal from upper left to lower right and down the right side.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Wood Grain Wonders DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a panel of Bloom Boutique DSP (available May 5) to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock (available May 5) with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow.
I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Phrases & Frames Dies (available May 5). I embossed the frame with the Impressions Plate (available May 5) and then inked the frame with Crisp Cantaloupe ink (available May 5) and a Small Blending Brush. I adhered the die cut frame pieces together and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower images from the Garden Gatherings stamp set (available May 5) in Peaceful Pine (available May 5) and Crisp Cantaloupe inks and then die cut the image with the coordinating Garden Gatherings Dies (available May 5). I stamped the vase image from the Garden Gatherings stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Vellum Specialty Paper (Online Exclusive item), sprinkled it with white embossing power from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Garden Gatherings Dies.
I cut panels of 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper with the water and greenery dies from the Garden Gatherings Dies. Then I adhered the water to the front of the vase die cut and the flowers and greenery die cuts to the back of the vase die with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the vase to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added two 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (available May 5) to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Gatherings stamp set in Golden Glow ink (available May 5) on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Phrases & Frames stamp set (available May 5) in Crisp Cantaloupe ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Bloom Boutique DSP with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
