I saw this dress online the other day and I liked the pattern, so I thought that I’d try to recreate it with the Dress Up Framelits Dies from Stampin’ Up!

I decided to change the color scheme a bit and this is what I came up with:

I started by embossing the white panel with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and adhering it to an Early Espresso card base with SNAIL.  Then I cut the scallop oval from Early Espresso card stock using the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies, embossed it with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I cut a piece of Melon Mambo DSP from the Brights DSP Stacks using the largest regular oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

 I cut the dress shape out of Early Espresso card stock using the Dress Up Framelits Dies and I stamped the flower images from the Blooming With Kindess stamp set in VersaMark ink on it.  I sprinkled Melon Mambo and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on the two images and I heat embossed them.  Then I cut the dress stand from Soft Suede card stock using the Dress Up Framelits Dies and I adhered the decorated dress to it with SNAIL.  I added a strip of five pearls around the neck, then adhered the dress to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Phrases stamp set in VersaMark ink on Early Espresso card stock, sprinkled it with Melon Mambo and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut it out with the smallest oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and I adhered it to an oval that I’d cut from Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I added three pearls under the sentiment, then adhered the layered ovals to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the card by stamping the flower image on a Whisper White panel in Early Espresso ink that I’d stamped off once on scrap paper.  And I liked the card so much that I decided to make another one with a little different DSP and sentiment.

I used the sentiment from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (131395) and the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder (127819) to create this card.

I punched the sentiment out with the Large Oval Punch (119855) and layered it over a Scallop Oval Punch (119856) from Whisper White card stock.
