I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Vintage Leaves to make the card that I’m sharing today.
The design for my card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 200.
I started by stamping the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in VersaMark Ink several times across a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I sprinkled the images with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.
I cut the maple leaf out of scrap paper with the matching Leaflets Framelits die, took the “negative” of the die cut and I placed it over one of the stamped leaves. I sponged a little Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Watermelon Wonder inside the leaf die cut and continued sponging each individual leaf until I’d sponged them all. I wiped the excess ink off the embossed areas with a paper towel, then wrapped strips of 2014-16 In Color Designer Washi Tape around the panel.
I cut the sentiment from Mossy Meadow card stock with one of the dies from the Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1) set and I adhered it to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tangelo Twist card stock with SNAIL.
I wrapped a strand of Gold Cording Trim (available Sept 1) around the panel, pulled the ends through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and tied a bow. I placed a Glue Dot behind the button to hold it securely, then adhered the layered panel to a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the leaf image from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Hello Honey, then rolled the edges along my Tangelo Twist ink pad and stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.
