I made this card using the Topsy-Turvy Celebration stamp set. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the cake layers, that is an awesome tool! It’s so simple to use and the results are always perfect.
Here is a list of what you will need to make this card:
- Topsy-Turvy Celebrations
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Primrose Petals Card Stock
- Raspberry Ripple Card Stock
- So Saffron Card Stock
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon
- Large Oval Punch
- Scallop Oval Punch
- Adorning Accents Embossing Folders
- Adorning Accents Edgelits
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Stamp-a-ma-jig
- Raspberry Ripple Ink
- Primerose Petals Ink
- So Saffron Ink
I stamped the cake image using Raspberry Ripple for the bottom layer, Primerose Petals for the middle layer, So Saffron for the Top layer and Raspberry Ripple for the bow. I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color the letters of the sentiment (don’t forget to breathe on your colored images just before stamping them to make sure that your ink is still moist and ready to stamp perfectly!), then I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. I added a layer of Raspberry Ripple behind the sentiment with the Scallop Oval Punch. Next, I cut and embossed the scalloped edge using the Adorning Accents Edgelit and the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and my Big Shot. I cut a strip of So Saffron and Primrose Petals card stock and cut and embossed the scalloped edge on each of those pieces also. Then I layered them and adhered them to the Whisper White card stock. I tied a knot using the Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and adhered that to the Whisper White card stock. I added the layered sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a put few Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the cake and sentiment for a finishing touch.
This set is a lot of fun to use!
This one is adorable too!
Amy, the triple Edgelits border is so pretty.
