Artisan Embellished Daydream Medallions

Today I’m sharing a card that I created using the Daydream Medallions and Hello, Doily stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!  I also added a few pieces from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.  The design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #79:

Daydream Medallions

I started by stamping the Hello, Doily image in VersaMark ink on Very Vanilla card stock and embossing it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Hello Doily

I sponged the Hello Doily image and the edges of the panel with Soft Suede ink.  I stamped the 3 Daydream Medallion images in VersaMark ink, heat embossed them with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder, cut them out with the matching Floral Frames Framelits and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.

I adhered a strip of Very Vanilla card stock that I’d embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder and sponged with Soft Suede ink to the main panel.  Then I adhered a strip of the Artisan Embellishments Kit lace (cut in half) and a strip of 1/8″ Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock (edges sponged with Soft Suede) and adhered the strip to the main card panel with SNAIL.   I stamped the sentiment from the Lacy & Lovely stamp set (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement) in Soft Suede ink on the main panel, then I adhered the panel to the card front also with SNAIL.  I adhered the three Daydream Medallion die cuts together with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To finish the card, I adhered a rose from the Artisan Embellishments Kit and a small bow to the card front with Glue Dots and I added three pearls under the sentiment.
