Today I’m sharing a Mother’s Day card that I created with the Secret Garden stamp set and Artisan Embellishments Kit from Stampin’ Up!

I started by rolling my Brayer in Pink Pirouette ink and applying it to the top side of the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  Then I carefully placed my panel of Very Vanilla card stock in the inked up embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Primrose Petals card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped all 4 types of ribbon and lace (I cut the wide lace in half) from the Artisan Embellishments Kit around the center of the panel and adhered them with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped three of the flowers from the Secret Garden stamp set in StazOn Jet Black ink on Watercolor Paper and I cut them out using the Secret Garden Framelits Dies.  I used my Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit ink pads and my Aqua Painter to paint the flowers and I set them aside to dry.  I also stamped the two solid flowers in Primrose Petals ink on Watercolor Paper (after stamping them off once on scrap paper), colored the centers with my Summer Starfruit Stampin’ Write Marker, cut them out with the Secret Garden Framelits Dies and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  After the watercolored flowers were dry, I layered and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Primrose Petals ink on Very Vanilla card stock, punched it out with the Word Window Punch, adhered it to a Modern Label Punch from Primrose Petals card stock, then adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with SNAIL.  I punched an Elegant Butterfly from the 2012-14 In Color DSP Stack and a Bitty Butterfly from Fan Fair DSP, adhered them together with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card front by adding three pearls to the butterfly, two pearls to the sentiment and three pearls to the lower left side of the card.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the flower images in Pink Pirouette along the bottom of the card.
