My April Paper Pumpkin Has Arrived!

And here are the cards that I made with the kit.  Of course, I added to add a few optional items but the kit itself contained everything needed (except adhesive) to create 4 cards as well as 4 envelopes to send them off in once they’re completed.

April My Paper Pumpkin

If you follow the instructions that come with the kit, this is the card that you’ll create.  Three sentiment stamps were included:  Seriously, love your guts and you kick booty.  I used the Seriously and love your guts sentiments for this one.  The only piece that required adhesive was the wavy line DSP, all of the other pieces were self-adhesive or tied on.

I used the little whale and the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Oh Whale! stamp set (129129 wood, 129132 clear) to create a get well card with this one.  I punched the little hearts from Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Owl Builder Punch (118074).  I stamped the whale in Not Quite Navy ink, cut it out with the Happy Whale Clearlits Die (129403) and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Oh Whale

I couldn’t help myself, I had to use the Dress Up Framelits die (130101) with the DSP from the kit using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it (104430).  I also added a panel of More Mustard and a panel of Baja Breeze card stock behind the dress.  The fabulous sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set (117002 wood, 120501 clear) and I sponged a little Cherry Cobbler and More Mustard ink on the 5/8″ Flower Trim and adhered it to the dress with Glue Dots.

For the final card I added the sweet sentiment from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set and the thank you sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (115370 wood, 127802 clear).

The great thing about the kits is that you can add a few things to change the cards a bit or you can make them just as the instructions show.  And I was able to put all 4 of these together in about 30 minutes, even with my little extras.  Hope that you enjoyed peeking in the April My Paper Pumpkin box.  If you’d like to receive a surprise kit once a month yourself, head over to the My Paper Pumpkin website and sign up!  Your first kit will be the Welcome Kit, which you can see in my post here.  The Welcome Kit contains a free acrylic block that you can use for all of your future kits.  From then on, you’ll get a surprise kit once a month.  You can skip a month or cancel at any time too!

  1. These are absolutely adorable!! I love that you bring in other items to give each card and kit a touch of your own personality.
