I made my card share for today using the Stampin’ Up! Swallowtail stamp.  The design was inspired by the Retrosketches #60 and the colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos #49 Challenge.

I created a Z-fold card, it’s really easy it looks really cool!  I started by scoring my Basic Black card stock at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.

Then I stamped the Distressed Dots image on Basic Gray card stock in Basic Gray ink on three panels and I adhered two of the panels to the card front with SNAIL.  I wrapped a piece of the 1-1/4″ Two-Tone Ribbon around the larger panel and adhered it with SNAIL before attaching the panel to the card base.

Then I stamped the butterfly image in VersaMark ink on Basic Gray card stock, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat embossed it and cut it out with the largest regular Ovals Collection Framelits Die.  I adhered the third Distressed Dot stamped panel to the back of a Basic Black scallop oval Framelits die cut that I’d embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered a strip of the Two-Tone Ribbon around the two pieces and adhered the butterfly stamped oval over the top of the layers with SNAIL.

I adhered another Basic Gray oval die cut to the back side of the butterfly (to hide the ribbon ends) and I adhered the entire panel to the left side of the card front with SNAIL and I folded the card on the score lines.

I tied a bow and adhered it with Glue Dots to the upper part of the oval and I adhered two Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons to the lower left side also with Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Kindness Matters stamp set in VersaMark ink on Basic Gray card stock, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat embossed it and punched it out with the Small Oval Punch.  I adhered the oval to a 1″ Circle Punch from Basic Black card stock with SNAIL and then I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the inside of the card by cutting the largest oval framelit die cut in Whisper White card stock and I adhered it with SNAIL.
