Stamp With Amy K New Catalog Share!!

I decided to do something a little flowery to share with you all on Mother’s Day.  I created this card using two Stampin’ Up! stamp sets that will be retiring in a few weeks, Build a Blossom and Tiny Tags.

I started by stamping the En Francais background image twice in Pink Pirouette ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I adhered the panel to a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock, then to a Primrose Petals card base with SNAIL.  Then I cut a Labels Collection Framelits die cut from Fan Fair DSP and from Very Vanilla card stock.  I embossed the Very Vanilla panel with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.

I cut the Fan Fair DSP panel in half, then trimmed the pointed pieces with my Paper Snips and I adhered the two separate pieces to the back of the Very Vanilla die cut with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the Build a Blossom petal images in Primrose Petals ink on Pink Pirouette card stock, (seven of the large petals, nine of the narrow petals and five of the small petals) and I punched them all out with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch.  I slid my Bone Folder over the back of ach petal to round it a bit, then I started assembling the flower using Sticky Strip and SNAIL to adhere the flower petals in the center.

I cut one of the flowers from the 5/8″ Flower Trim and I tapped it on my Pink Pirouette ink pad to add a bit of color.  I adhered it to the center of the flower with a Glue Dot, then added a pearl.  I finished the card front by stamping the sentiment from the Tiny Tags stamp set (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement), punching it out with the Jewelry Tag Punch and adhering it with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

To finish the inside of the card, I stamped the En Francais image in Pink Pirouette ink on a Very Vanilla panel and adhered it with SNAIL inside the card.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Moms and Moms-to-be!!  Now I’m off to go run a Moms only 5K Race, a great way to start my day!
