I’ve got another Best of Brides & Babies card to share with you today. I used the Stampin’ Up Labels Collection Framelits dies and the Simply Scored Diagonal Scoring Plate to create the frame and background. My card design was (very loosely) inspired by the Sketch Frenzy Friday SFF053113 Sketch.
I started by stamping the Best of Brides & Babies teddy bear image and sentiment on a Pink Pirouette panel. I stamped the bears in Early Espresso ink (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement) and the sentiment in StazOn Jet Black ink. I colored the letters in the sentiment with my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker, then I placed the Labels Collection Framelit (the 3rd from the center size) around the sentiment and I cut it out with the Big Shot.
I lifted the sentiment out and placed the background panel on my Simply Scored Diagonal Scoring Plate. I scored the panel every 1″ from left to right, then I turned the panel 90 degrees and scored it again every 1″. Then I adhered the scored panel and the sentiment back in place on an Early Espresso panel, then adhered the layered panel to a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with SNAIL.
Next, I took the 2nd and 4th Labels Collection Framelits Dies and I placed them together on a Crisp Cantaloupe panel and I ran it through the Big Shot, creating a frame. I embossed the frame with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and I adhered it over the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the “t” image again in StazOn Jet Black ink on the Crisp Cantaloupe DSP from the In Color DSP Stacks, cut it out with my Paper Snips and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front. I stamped the little heart from the “t” image in StazOn Jet Black ink on Pink Pirouette card stock, cut it out with my Paper Snips and adhered it with a 2-Way Glue Pen. I punched three hearts from Crisp Cantaloupe card stock with the Small Heart Punch and 3 hearts from Early Espresso card stock with the Owl Builder Punch and I adhered them together then to the card front with SNAIL. I finished the card front by adding three pearls and a Pink Pirouette 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon bow that I adhered with a Glue Dot.
I finished the inside of the card by stamping the teddy bear images again in Early Espresso ink on a Pink Pirouette panel, then adhering it to the inside of the card with SNAIL.

An Announcement From Me on a Personal Note:
I wanted to let you all know that we will be moving from Portland, OR to the Atlanta, GA area at the end of this week! My husband is being transferred there for work so we’re heading out as soon as the girls get out of school. The movers are arriving on Tuesday to pack up our household things (including my stamps!!) and they’ll be loading on Friday so I’ll be homeless and stampless for a few days while our things are in transit.
I’ve created several cards to share with you while I’m between houses and without my stamps, but I’m not sure that I’ll have something to post every single day…I’ll do the best that I can! I will have internet and email access, but I may not be able to respond as quickly as I normally do while we’re in transition.
I’m very much going to miss Portland, but I’m also looking forward to some exciting new adventures in Atlanta!
