Today I’m sharing a card that I created using the Pleasant Poppies stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

I started by embossing a Basic Black panel with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  Then I stamped the Pleasant Poppies image in StazOn Jet Black in in a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the scalloped oval die from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  I pierced the edges of the scalloped oval with the template from the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack and adhered it to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I stamped the image again in StazOn Jet Black ink on a Whisper White panel and I punched four squares out with the 1″ Square Punch.  I colored the images on those punches with my Stampin’ Write Markers and adhered them with SNAIL to 1-1/8″ squares that I’d cut from Basic Black card stock.  I adhered the four layered squares to the scalloped oval die cut with SNAIL.

I colored the sentiment from the Blooming With Kindness stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I punched it out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, adhered it with SNAIL to a Basic Black 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, then to the oval panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card by adhering a strip of Whisper White 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the Basic Black panel with SNAIL, then looping a piece of the ribbon through the 3/8″ Glimmer Brad prongs and adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.  I adhered the Basic Black panel to a Real Red card base with SNAIL.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic Black panel and a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ Whisper White panel with SNAIL.
