Harvest of Thanks Label Pop ‘n Cuts Card

I made a card using the Harvest of Thanks stamp set and the Label Pop ‘n Cuts die from Stampin’ Up! for my card share today.  I love that this set matches four of the Framelits dies that I already have plus with the many thanks and Gratitude stamps, it’s got lots of uses beyond Thanksgiving.  My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 305.

Harvest of Thanks

I started by cutting a panel of Real Red card stock with the Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts die.  Then I adhered the smaller panels of the I Am Me DSP to panels of Real Red card stock, then to a 4-1/2″ x 11″ panel of I Am Me DSP with SNAIL.  I placed the Label Pop ‘n Cuts insert in the Card Base Die and I cut the layered panel of I Am Me DSP.

Harvest of Thanks 3

I used my Paper Snips to cut off the excess background panels from the pop out (the two polka dot panels) and I adhered the DSP Pop ‘n Cuts die cut to the Real Red die cut card base.

Harvest of Thanks 2

Then I stamped the sentiment and the turkey image from the Harvest of Thanks stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut them out with the corresponding Apothecary Accents and Deco Labels Collection Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together with SNAIL, then to a Labels Collection Framelits die cut from Real Red card stock.

Harvest of Thanks 1

I adhered a strip of Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the DSP pop up and around the card base with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered sentiment to the pop up with SNAIL, tied a bow using the Real Red Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment panel with a Glue Dot.

Lots of Thanks

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the sentiment from the Lots of Thanks stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel, cutting it out with the Labels Collection Framelits die, adhering it to a Labels Collection die cut from Real Red Card stock, then to the card base with SNAIL.

Four You

I finished the outside of the card by cutting a Labels Collection die cut from Whisper White and Real Red card stock.  I stamped the “you” by inking up half of the thank you sentiment from the Four You stamp set in Real Red ink and stamping it on the Whisper White die cut.  Then I adhered a piece of Real Red card stock to a piece of Mulitpurpose Adhesive Sheet, then cut the “thank” piece of the thankful Expressions Thinlits Die.  I peeled the backing off the die cut and adhered it to the Whisper White die cut.  I embossed the Real Red die cut with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, adhered it to the back of the Whisper White die cut with SNAIL, then adhered the layered labels to the outside of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  1. Amy, this card is so striking! I love the colors and the clever way you layered the labels for the front of the pop-up to remove the turkey and make it a generic Thanks card. Clever!
