I used the Walk in the Wild, Wetlands and Truly Grateful stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a masculine card to share today.  The wood background stamp from the Truly Grateful stamp set is definitely one of my favorite items in the new Holiday Catalog.  The stamp can be used for almost any type of card!

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 307 and the colors were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #166.

Walk in the Wild

I started by embossing a panel of Early Espresso Core’dinations card stock with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder, sanding the raised areas and adhering it to an Early Espresso card base with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the image from the Truly Grateful stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White square.  I cut the square in half diagonally, sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Walk in the Wild 1

Then I stamped the moose image from the Walk in the Wild stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat embossed it and cut it out with one of the Circles Collection Framelits Dies.  I sponged the edges with Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz ink, then adhered it with SNAIL to a circle that I’d cut from Early Espresso Core’dinations card stock, embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and sanded.  I adhered the layered circles to the card front with SNAIL as well.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Wetlands stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White strip, sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and adhered it with SNAIL to a strip of Early Espresso Core’dinations card stock that I’d sanded.  I punched the end of the sentiment with the Hexagon Punch to create the banner end and adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered a Naturals Designer Button with a Glue Dot that I’d looped Natural Linen Thread through and adhered three banners of 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon with SNAIL.

Truly Grateful

I stamped the round wood image from the Truly Grateful stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card to complete it.
