Warmth & Wonder Christmas Greetings & The Final Thank You Thursday Deals from Stampin’ Up!

I used the hostess stamp set called Warmth & Wonder from the Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog to create my card today.  This stamp set has some great holiday images and I love that you can decorate the little tree with the ornaments!  And you can get this set by placing an order of $150 or greater through my online store.

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players #169 and the Split Coast Stampers SCS450 color challenge.

Warmth & Wonder

I stamped the sentiment from the Warmth & Wonder stamp set (hostess only wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a panel of Gingham Garden DSP.  I layered that over a Whisper White panel then adhered the layered panels to the Wild Wasabi card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Warmth & Wonder 2

The tree images were stamped in Wild Wasabi ink on a Soft Sky panel and the snowflakes are Whisper White Stampin’ Craft Ink.  I heat embossed the ornaments with Melon Mambo Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I added three little banners that I embossed with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder and punched with the side of the Hexagon Punch under the strip of Baked Brown Sugar card stock and Wild Wasabi 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Warmth & Wonder 1

The deer image was stamped in Baked Brown Sugar ink on a Shimmery White card stock panel, cut out with a Circles Collection Framelits die and layered over a 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch from Baked Brown Sugar card stock.  I also added three Wild Wasabi Candy Dots to the upper left side to complete the card front.

Warmth & Wonder 3

The inside of the card was stamped with the Warmth & Wonder sentiment and the little tree images in Wild Wasabi ink.

The complete list of supplies and card stock cuts that I used to create this card are at the very bottom of this post.

  1. Amy, this set has seen a lot of ink in my craft room already and I just love what you did with it here! Wow! That color combo is awesome for a holiday card. (I *love* pink!) Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players and rocking my sketch! 🙂

  2. Such a cute card, Amy, and a clever way to use this stamp set. Love the gingham paper and happy colors for the holidays! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. Amy, I’ve been trying to accomplish some non-traditional color Christmas cards with no success but you have done so brilliantly. I love pink on a holiday card and this is one my favorite stamp sets. Thanks for sharing with us this week at The Paper Players!
