It’s Friday so Sandi MacIver and I have both created cards using the Merry Little Christmas stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to share with you today.  So make sure that you head over to her blog to see her fabulous card after you peek at mine!

My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 318 Sketch.

I started by embossing a panel of Old Olive Textured Card Stock with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, then to a Crumb Cake card base.  And I added a banner cut from the Season of Style DSP.

I colored the sentiment from the Merry Little Christmas stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with my Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it on a Whisper White panel, then cut it out with the Chalk Talk Framelit.  I trimmed it down with my Stampin’ Trimmer (easy to do since the tag edges are straight) and adhered it to a Cherry Cobbler Chalk Talk Framelit die cut.  I stamped the ornament image from the Very Merry Tags (wood mount and clear mount) in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, punched them out with the matching Mosaic Punch and popped the Old Olive ornament up on a Stampin’ Dimensional.

The bow was tied from Cherry Cobbler 1″ Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon (which is one of the Weekly Deals this week on sale for 25% off!!) and adhered with a Glue Dot over the top of the tag.  Then I added a Frosted Finishes Embellishment (adhered with a Glue Dot) and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card front.

The Whisper White panel inside the card was stamped with the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Crumb Cake ink and the ornament images in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler inks.
