I used the new valentine stamp from Stampin’ Up! called Flowerfull Heart and the carryover Tags 4 You stamp set to create a valentine card to share with you today.  I probably went a little overboard on the red with this one.  🙂  Remember that the valentine products are only available from Stampin’ Up! through Jan 27 and while supplies last so make sure that you pick yours up soon.  To see all of the valentine products in my online store, click here.

I started by cutting cut the corner from a sheet of Red Glimmer Paper as well as a heart using the Hearts Collection Framelits die and I adhered both to a panel from the Fresh Prints DSP Stack.  Then I stamped the Flowerfull Heart image in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the matching Hearts Collection Framelits die.

I adhered the Flowerfull Heart image over the Red Glimmer Paper heart with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then I trimmed the edge even with the edge of the DSP panel.  Next, I adhered the DSP panel to a Whisper White panel, then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tags 4 You stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Real Red ink and punched it out with Label Bracket Punch.  I punched out two more Label Bracket Punches from Real Red card stock, cut them in half and adhered them behind the sentiment so they were slightly peeking out on all sides, then adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a strand of Gold Baker’s Twine through the Vintage Faceted Designer Button and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot, then added some random Pearl Basics Jewels and sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim.  I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue again to adhere the sequins.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a leftover strip of the Fresh Prints DSP Stack paper to a Real Red card stock strip, then adhering them both to a Whisper White panel.
