I used the Spiral Spins and Hip Notes stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a thank you card to share with you today.  My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #178.  Since my word bubble was switched the opposite way, I turned the sketch around too.

I started by adhering a panel of Retro Fresh DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with SNAIL, then to a Baked Brown Sugar card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Spiral Spins stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango and Baked Brown Sugar inks on a Very Vanilla panel.  I punched the largest image out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and layered it over a circle that I’d cut from Coastal Cabana card stock with a Circle Collection Framelits Die.

The two medium spiral images were punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch and layered over card stock that was punched with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch.  The smallest image was punched out using the 1/2″ Circle Punch and layered over the smallest Circles Collection Framelits die cut from Baked Brown Sugar card stock.

I inked up the sentiment part of the stamp from the Hip Notes stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) with Baked Brown Sugar ink and stamped it on a Very Vanilla panel, cut it out with the Word Bubbles Framelits Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut the two little arrows using one of the dies from the Label Cards Thinlits Die set from Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar card stock.  I adhered the arrows together with SNAIL and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Tangerine Tango (from the Brights Candy Dots pack) and So Saffron (from the Subtles Candy Dots pack) Candy Dot and a little leftover star from the Good as Gold Card Kit (Sale-a-bration item) to complete the card front.

I colored the little arrow and dot image from the bottom of the Hip Notes sentiment with my Stampin’ Write Markers and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the image across the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel to complete the inside of the card.
